Where is Inkanto Luxury Hotel located? | Best hotel in Mahahual Mexico is Inkanto Luxury Hotel

Inkanto Luxury Hotel is located in Mahahual a tiny beachside town that is incredibly charming. It is a little stretch of road with stalls and restaurants, cafes and shops along one side and beach and beach clubs along the other.

Mahahual is 2.5 hours (226km) from Tulum and just over an hour (104km) from Bacalar. It makes a great stop travelling to or from Belize and a must visit on your Mexico itinerary!

How long to stay in Mahahual Mexico?

We stayed two nights at Inkanto Luxury Hotel and wished we had planned to stay longer. Mahahual, Mexico was so wonderful that I could have spent a week easily just relaxing here.

Do you need a car in Mahahual Mexico?

While having a car to travel Mexico is a great way to get around, you don’t really need one for Mahahual. It’s a tiny town and Inkanto Luxury Hotel is located so perfectly you really don’t need to .

Inkanto Luxury Hotel is very well maintinated. The lobby and entrance are immaculately clean and arranged so you can relax on large couches with a lovely green plant wall. The reception is beautifully designed with natural wooden features and checking in is a pleasure. The staff are so welcoming that we can tell this is going to be a lovely place to stay.

Our Room | Best hotel in Mahahual Mexico is Inkanto Luxury Hotel

We stayed on the third floor which was lovely and quiet. Walking through the door we had an entry way leading off to the bathroom before turning to a large bedroom! The space was huge with a giant king sized bed filling most of it. Let me tell you that this was the most comfortable bed and we had the best sleep there!

The room included a TV with satellite channels, a desk, a fridge with water. There is also a water station in the lobby to refill your bottles which we thought was very thoughtful. A full sliding door opened out to our private balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. It was just so lovely! The huge windows created the perfect little oasis in our room while overlooking the ocean.

The bathroom was as well appointed as the main room. The serene feeling continued through to the bathroom space. The towels were thick and plush, something we really appreciate when travelling.

The aesthetic of the whole space is so relaxing and inviting, it created that coastal feel you want when visiting a beach destination.

Inkanto Luxury Hotel has an incredible rooftop pool which is the best place to relax when you can draw yourself away from the beach. It is set out with sun loungers to relax on while you take a dip. This is also the best spot to watch sunset from!

Mahahual beach club | Best hotel in Mahahual Mexico is Inkanto Luxury Hotel

Another excellent feature of the Inkanto Luxury Hotel is their beach club and Maramao restaurant. One of the best restaurants in Mahahual it is located right infant of the hotel with beach views.

The beach club is just infront of the restaurant. The service is excellent, you will never want for anything. Beach front chairs and sunbeds are the ultimate in seaside relaxation and while there is enough you do not feel crowded. Spending a day going from the sea to sunbed is what a holiday should be! Reading a book in the sun here was a sublime experience. The ocean gently lapping at your feet while you’re stretched out under the shade was delightful.

You will be given a ticket to hand in to reception to receive beach towels, you can hand them back to get new ones each day. This is such an easy system and so convenient for guests.

We highly suggest you grab a meal and drinks at the restaurant or even better order for it to be delivered at your sun bed on the beach! The ultimate holiday indulgence.

We truly loved our time at Inkanto Luxury Hotel. It is made our stay in Mahahual Mexico incredible, I am still dreaming of my sun bed on the beach and our cosy room in this perfect paradise.
