Heritage Hotel Hallstatt, Hallstatt Austria is the perfect choice for your Hallstatt adventure. Located just steps from the dock we were early for check in but left our bags so we could explore without our luggage. You can check out our Hallstatt adventure here.

Check in at Heritage Hotel Hallstatt, Hallstatt Austria

Check in was an easy affair, the staff were so lovely and efficient and once done we went up to our room.

Our Room

The room was modern, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were lovely touches such as old pictures of Hallstatt adoring the walls, which really helped us appreciate the history of the hotel and town. Coffee pods, small fridge, a cupboard and safe we unpacked and settled in. The renovated bathroom was clean and modern. It had an attached separate toilet and L’Occitane products, my favourite!

The bed was large and very comfortable, perfect for a deep sleep of fairy tale dreams.

Noticing the 2 doors leading outside we pulled back the curtains and walked out into the most spectacular setting. Our balcony was a 180 degree views of Lake Hallstatt, from the church and mountains, across the lake to the houses next to us. This was the perfect place to stop and soak up the village. Sunset was just perfect here, we spent hours just watching the lake and the village life from our great vantage spot!

Breakfast at Heritage Hotel Hallstatt, Hallstatt Austria

In the morning the buffet breakfast was exactly what we needed to start the day! Served in the restaurant with views to the lake there were breads, pastries, yoghurt and fruits, bacon and eggs, vegetables, meats and cheeses. Coffee, tea and juices were all readily available. The staff were so wonderful and helpful, they checked in on us regularly to have a chat about our time in Hallstatt.

We were truly sad to leave our beautiful stay. Taking our final glimpses of the lake from the balcony was a sad moment. We really didn’t want to leave our perfect Hallstatt accommodation. Heading off to the waiting boat and gliding across the lake was dreamy. We already look forward to returning to the Heritage Hotel Hallstatt. It was perfectly positioned and comfortable. The staff were friendly helpful and generous with their time making guests feel at home. If you do decide to stay there pass on a big “Hello” from Passport Nomads! You can find their rooms here!
