Unique Travel Gifts

These are some of the most unique and best travel gifts that I think you could give. Definitely things they wont have thought of themselves but will absolutely love!

Gypsea Loop Bangle – I am obsessed with this and I think it is genius! A really nice bangle that you can put gorgeous hair ties on it to match your outfit without ruining the look. I love mine and use it all the time. They are waterproof and tarnish free too! For me this is the ultimate travel gift! Use our coupon code (PASSPORTNOMADS) for a discount!

Air Tags – This is something we didn’t think of until someone gave us some! Putting Air Tags in our luggage has saved the worry when checking our bags, we can see where they are!

We got some cute air tag cases for them and attach them inside our bag so we don’t lose them! Great for your suitcase and day pack and there are tons of designs to choose from, find one to match their personality which makes a thoughtful and functional gift.

Water Hammock – We love our water hammocks! We’ve taken them to Indonesia, Philippines, Greece and every time they make our beach days better. They are lightweight and compact to carry which is a bonus!

Portable clothes steamer – yep! this was something I hadn’t ever thought of but if you know someone who loves to travel and dress up then this is the item they never knew they needed!

Larq water bottle – we take our Larq bottles with us everywhere! We love that they filter out impurities on the go and also offer a UV cleaning lid!

Fire Stick – not what it sounds like! It is a USB stick that you can stick into any TV around the world to gain access to your streaming services.

Budget Travel Gifts…Perfect for Stocking Stuffers!

These are the perfect stocking stuffer style gifts that will make even seasoned travellers smile!

Passport Holder – This is the best passport holder! We bought it about 2 years ago and it is still going strong. I love the handy pen so we can always fill out our forms. It gets a lot of use and is still in great condition. It is the perfect size to fit our passports and compact in our bags.

Atomiser – We love taking our perfumes with us and this little atomiser makes it easy. We carry a couple of different fragrances with us wherever we go. They are easy to fill and take up no room.

Sneaker shoe bag – These are essential for our travel bags as they keep our shoes away from our clean clothes.

Socks – It may not sound exciting but there is nothing like finding that new pair of socks in your bag.

Even better grab some compression socks! We use them on each plane ride and while walking around cities, they make 20K steps much easier on your feet! We love these from Dr Woof!

Tripod – It is really hard to get good photos of yourself when you ask others to take them for you. Having a tripod on hand makes it so much easier! We carry this one, it is light weight and has sturdy legs.

If you want a really high quality one this Peak Design tripod is the ultimate!

Luggage Tags – These are a must! In a day where everyone has the same black suitcase, having a luggage tag not only helps you see your bag easily but stops others from taking your bag. Also great when for when you have to leave your bag at hotels and they come in loads of colour choices!

Medical Kit – This is the gift that sounds super boring…until you need it! We always travel with a medical kit and use it pretty often. From paracetamol to blisters you always need something!

Lens cases – If you have a good camera set up then protecting it on the go is really important. We bought this lens case to protect our 70-200mm Sony Lens, it is really sturdy with thick padding. They come in a range of sizes.

Toiletry Bag – we have a couple of favourites here! These clear bags are great when using carry on, this bag for men is awesome and I love this fold out toiletry bag which comes in lots of colours.

No Pong Deodorant – I am not kidding, if the traveller in your life hasn’t tried this then get it for them! They will love it. It comes in a small lightweight tin, works perfectly (we even tested it in the hottest days in Dubai and Oman of nearly 40ยฐC and it was excellent) and is a natural deodorant!

Shoe cleaning Wipes – if you know a sneaker head then these wipes will be invaluable for them while travelling!

Electrical organiser – we bought this electronics organiser years ago and it is still in excellent condition and we take it on every trip! It fits loads in it and helps us keep everything together so we don’t lose anything.

Travel Towel – we love having our own towel with us to use incase they aren’t provided at hotels/hostels (yep it happens!) or as a beach towel. These are our two favourites – for a camping or back up towel this is the one we use or for a beach towel on our Greece or beaching trips we love this one!

Electrical Travel Gifts

These are the electrical products that we always take when travelling!

Camera – we take a Sony A7Cii which is an awesome lightweight mirrorless full frame camera. It held up perfectly on safari and in beach locations. We use either this 24-70mm lens or this 50mm prime and for a telephoto this 70-200mm lens. This covers us for most situations!

Earphones – these are essential! Mike uses these Samsung Earbuds that connect to his Samsung phone perfectly and we love the live translation feature! I use the Apple Earbuds.

Phone – our phones are essential while travelling and we always keep them up to date. Mike uses this Samsung and I use this Apple iphone.

Hair tool – while most hotels have a hair dryer it is not always the way so I carry this compact hair tool with me, and use it more than I expected!

Travel shaver – this one is a great compact one for men and this one for women is awesome!

Luggage Travel Gifts

Osprey Sojourn Porter 46L Backpack – This is such a great backpack, we used it all over Tanzania for our safari, Zanzibar, Oman, Dubai. It was a big trip and it held up perfectly, also really spacious with the 46l space!

40l carry on backpack – these are really handy for short carry on only trips!

Packing Cubes – These are essential! We wont travel without them and once you try it you wont go back. Keeping everything in place makes finding your things easier especially when you are tired or in a rush! We love these packing cubes and these if you want compression packing cubes.

Day Pack – this is also really important, carry the daily essentials and leave your bigger bag at your accommodation. This Osprey one is awesome!

Luggage! This is always an important decision and this Samsonite luggage is tried and tested. We prefer a hard case as they add that extra protection.

Is this guide just for Christmas?

Definitely not! These are great gifts year round, think birthdays, graduation (maybe theyre off on a celebration trip?), Mother’s or Father’s Day or just because!
