What is Plaza Premium Lounge Changi Airport like?
We were so excited to try out the Plaza Premium Lounge in Singapore, we had visited one in Vancouver and just loved it. Changi is one of our favourite airports we knew it was the perfect combination!
Arriving at Plaza Premium Lounge we were met by the most friendly and pleasant staff. After greeting us we checked in and were led to a private room which was the perfect little space to make our own for the next few hours!
The VIP Room had four plush seating chairs, lovely dim lighting so we could rest, a lamp to read the papers provided and a little table to use for drinks. It was a really welcome space to put our bags and relax.
The main area of the Plaza Premium Lounge Changi Airport.
After setting down our things we walked out in to the Plaza Premium Lounge to check it out.
In the main area there were newspapers and flight information boards with a range of seating options. The main space was full of lounges, tables and chairs, small booths and some more private spaces near the back. There was a main window to look out over the tarmac also.
Food and drink options at Plaza Premium Lounge Changi Airport
There was a fully stocked bar with beer, wine and spirits available. The selection was excellent, Mike enjoyed a beer while I loved the perfectly chilled white wine. The food area was beautifully laid out with coffee machines, soft drinks and hot and cold food options. A hot and fresh cappuccino was the perfect drink at breakfast before leaving for our flight.
There was a cold buffet with a build your own salad options and hot buffet with noodles and rice dishes as well as a chef preparing the freshest Singapore laksa and Hainanese fried rice! This was such a delicious treat. I asked about gluten free options and was brought a delicious gluten free plate of rice and super fresh vegetables, it was delicious and exactly what I needed after the long flight.
